3. Distributor Data & Credentials
Your distributor account credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher. We access distributor catalogs solely to provide the sync and search services you have explicitly configured.
Your dealer-specific pricing, account terms, and purchase history are strictly confidential. This information is:
- Never shared with other Aftermarketscout users
- Never used for competitive analysis or benchmarking
- Never disclosed to third parties except as required by law
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
Service providers: We work with trusted third-party vendors (e.g., payment processors, cloud infrastructure providers) who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements. They may not use your data for their own purposes.
