3. Distributor Data & Credentials

Your distributor account credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher. We access distributor catalogs solely to provide the sync and search services you have explicitly configured.

Your dealer-specific pricing, account terms, and purchase history are strictly confidential. This information is:

  • Never shared with other Aftermarketscout users
  • Never used for competitive analysis or benchmarking
  • Never disclosed to third parties except as required by law

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers: We work with trusted third-party vendors (e.g., payment processors, cloud infrastructure providers) who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements. They may not use your data for their own purposes.

Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Aftermarketscout, our users, or the public.
